This CMC Swift has sharper lines than the original 1887-models, and a ball head. No real seat tube yet, but two thin stays. I guess it wasn't produced for more than one or two years.
This marvellous example was sold by the American Copake auction in 2010. Saddle cover has been replaced, but the rest looks excellent and original! Both wheels measure 30 inch. It is a shame mudguards are missing, which is the case on most safeties. Only few were originally delivered without fenders.
